Respond to user inquiries and requests for technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
Document and track support tickets, resolutions, and user interactions in the ticketing system.
Provide training and guidance to users on the proper use of IT equipment and applications.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and security patches.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve IT support services.
Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned by the IT Manager or Supervisor.
Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
At least 2 years working experience in IT Support role.
Proven experience working in an IT support role, providing technical assistance to end-users.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and software applications.
Familiarity with network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with users of varying technical backgrounds.
Customer-focused attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality support services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, Cisco CCNA) are a plus.
English communication.
