Job description
- Collaborate with Japanese clients to identify requirements, inputs, and transfer them to the Vietnamese development team.
- Review and evaluate product outputs (including documentation) from the Vietnamese development team and deliver them to Japanese clients.
- This is the development of a so-called core system (B2B system) web system.
Technical environment
- The architecture is Backend: Java; Frontend: React, etc.
- The infrastructure is assumed to be AWS, but since EC2/RDS will be the focus, we do not think special AWS skills are necessary.

Must
- Have experience as a software engineer
- 3+ years of experience managing projects (with >=10 people)
- Japanese: business level Upper N2 and above or N1/ Native
- Experience managing projects with >=50 people is a plus.
- Technical field: Any field you are confident in (security, frontend, Java, etc.).
- Experience in software development: developing for a company, developing on demand.
- Experience in common development methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Prototyping, Spiral, etc.
Better
- Basic software/application packaging (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
- Cloud infrastructure construction.
- Certifications: not required. However, having certifications that demonstrate/validate your experience is a plus (e.g., PMP, PM).
Mindset:
- Ability to listen to the other party, lead and coordinate meetings.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Ability and willingness to work with Vietnamese people (We are an offshore company in Vietnam).
- Receptive to cultural differences between Vietnam and Japan is a prerequisite.
Working time: Mon - Fri
Morning: 8:30 - 12:00, Afternoon: 13:00 - 17:30
