Job Description We are a UK owned company that manufactures toys (mainly) in Asia. We are looking for a candidate based in Ninh Thuan (Vietnam) with experience in quality control (experience in toys is an advantage), to take on a quality control role, carry out line inspections and prepare FRI reports.
The Quality Control Officer is responsible for maintaining product quality standards in Vietnam. We need someone who is flexible, independent, and has an eye for detail. The candidate should have knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes, and be willing to expand their skills in the industry. Logical thinking and problem solving skills are a plus.
Work location : Employees will work at the factory in Ninh Thuan
Working time : 40 hours/week - 5 days/week
What you will contribute during your time at the company :
- Carry out on-line instructions, ensuring products comply with our quality requirements from all stages of production, including from the quality of each small part to the finished packaged product.
- Review the quality control procedures of each stage of production to ensure compliance with quality procedures.
- Perform random checks such as pull tests, shipping checks for containers, etc.
- Identify and resolve all quality issues from in-line inspection, ensuring improvements meet our requirements.
- Check all reference samples at production stages to ensure compliance with our requirements.
- Perform final random inspections according to AQL level II.
- Check incoming materials in case of problems, compare with approval sample and material sample.
- Discuss with suppliers quality issues and product requirements to ensure compliance with our requirements.
- Guide QA/QC staff at supplier to understand our products and requirements.
Job Requirements
- 5 years or more experience in quality control in Textile, Toy or Footwear industry.
- Understanding of quality control techniques and manufacturing processes in related industry.
- Textile Engineering degree is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexibly and independently.
- English communication skills are an advantage.
