Conduct OBR meetings with the general manager's review and support, take necessary actions to maximize revenue, coordinate different revenue partners on board, drive sales team engagement and regularly share results in OBR meetings.
Identify market trends and recommend actions to onboard revenue partners, review daily revenue performance, and monitor integrated sales dashboards in real-time.
Schedule daily revenue generating activities to ensure that all departmental revenue opportunities are maximized with the involvement of relevant department heads through regular guest observation to understand their needs and align OBS strategy to their onboard expectations.
Work with the company's onboard revenue department to ensure consistency of onboard marketing and sales materials to company standards.
Act as a liaison between the shore office and the vessel - ensuring plans and strategies developed from the shore office are implemented accurately, proactively and promptly communicating on-board performance results and suggestions for improvement to the shore office.
Monitor the ORTALIO/instant feedback system, analyze purchasing behavior preferences and consumer trends, recommend appropriate actions to shore offices to support new or ongoing marketing promotions, as well as sales activities and, if required, manage onboard customer surveys.
Keep accurate and up to date shipboard revenue records to share with shore office for future improvements.
Perform other duties/tasks as required by direct manager.
Facilitate a work environment that supports a successful safety culture. Responsible for ensuring that effective supervision and management of the workplace is implemented and maintained. Implement and promote safety procedures within the responsible team/Department
At least 3 years experience as ship management
At least 5 years of experience in marketing, hospitality or retail, sales/revenue/marketing job scope.
Excellent management and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work under stress
Proficient in Microsoft: Word, Excell and Power Point
