1. Job description
Food processing and preparation:
- Directly prepare dishes according to the restaurant menu, ensuring correct recipes, quantities and quality standards.
- Prepare necessary materials before serving customers.
- Understand all the quantities and ingredients of the dishes on the menu and the level of ingredients needed to prepare for a sale.
- Ensure the correct preparation of ingredients, processing and serving time.
- Directly control food quality before serving.
Operation and coordination in the kitchen area:
- Assign and arrange work for kitchen assistants, support controlling the pace in the lines (grill, fryer, cold kitchen).
- Control food hygiene and safety according to internal procedures and legal regulations.
- Supervise the processing and preservation of raw materials at the beginning and end of the shift.
Support the chef's work:
- Perform tasks assigned by the Head Chef such as inventory, ordering, and loss control.
- Promptly report to the Head Chef about any problems that arise.
- Report on equipment status, tools, and shift personnel needs
Other duties: Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.
2. Requirements
Basic requirements:
- Have at least 01 year of experience working in a similar position
- Understanding of Izakaya or Eatery & Bar restaurant model.
- Good knife skills, cooking techniques, experience with Japanese or Fusion dishes preferred.
- Know how to control quantity, taste, and precise food preparation time.
- Priority is given to candidates living in Da Lat.
Required skills and knowledge:
- Teamwork mindset and coordination support.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing kitchen environment.
- Responsible, meticulous, punctual and long-term committed.
- Know how to organize work area scientifically and neatly.
