Job Purpose
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer with 1-2 years of experience who is proficient with Gitbook. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and updating our technical documentation, ensuring it is clear, concise, and accessible to our users. This includes user manuals, technical guides, online help, and other documentation that supports our development teams and end users. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, and the ability to understand complex technical concepts, background in the Web3 space/blockchain industries preferred.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation for the company’s products and services, including but not limited to user manuals, installation guides, and online help.
- Work closely with developers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure the accuracy of the documentation.
- Manage and organize documentation resources, ensuring that all materials are up-to-date, clear, consistent and accurate.
- Use Gitbook to structure and publish documentation, ensuring it is easily navigable and user-friendly.
- Create in-game help and tutorials to assist users in understanding game mechanics and features.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends to ensure documentation reflects current standards and practices.
- Ensure all documentation is consistent with the company brand guidelines.
- Assist in the creation of tutorials, FAQs, and other user assistance materials.
You have:
- Proven experience as a technical writer in the Web3 space/blockchain industries, is a plus.
- Strong understanding of technologies, software development processes, and version control systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency with documentation tools such as MS Office, Adobe Suite, Confluence, or other content management systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine interest in the gaming industry..
