Sales Manager Vietnam Electric Motor & Reducer
Our client, a leading global electric motor manufacturer (21M+ units annually), seeks a Sales Manager in Vietnam. Focusing on motors and reducers, you'll drive sales and business development, partnering with external sales to cultivate strong customer relationships and ensure a seamless sales experience. You will be the internal customer advocate, coordinating with supporting departments to meet their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new business, building trust-based customer relationships through calls, visits, presentations, and negotiations.
- Identify and develop high-potential opportunities, creating and executing action plans.
- Support customers through pre-tender consultations, site visits, and technical/commercial discussions.
- Prepare and issue proposals, coordinating cost calculations with supporting departments.
- Secure necessary information and documentation (site assessments, engineering, legal, etc.).
- Maintain organized customer interaction records and provide transparent feedback.
- Manage communications, responding promptly to requests.
- Maintain market awareness (pricing, technology, competition, trends) and communicate insights.
- Participate in industry events (conferences, trade shows).
- Manage tasks independently.
- Contribute to special projects as assigned.
- Uphold company culture of accountability, feedback, and teamwork.
- Adhere to company procedures and suggest improvements.
- 20-50% travel required.
- Continuously expand product and market knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Degree in business administration or engineering preferred.
- Strong sales and business development skills.
- Understanding of industry trends and customer expectations.
- Product knowledge and application expertise.
- Proficiency with product specifications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding of supporting department responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical industry sales (motors/reducers preferred).
- Strong knowledge of the sector.
- Experience in deal origination and negotiation.
- Project development, financing, and management experience a plus.

Compensation:
Fixed salary: $3,000/month + variable compensation (bonus + commissions).
