We are seeking a highly motivated and talented quantitative researcher to join our team of finance professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for using data and mathematical models to make informed investment decisions and drive alpha generation in the stock market.
As a quantitative researcher, you will play a critical role in designing, testing, and implementing algorithmic trading strategies that identify and capture profitable trading opportunities.
You will work closely with our team of traders, data scientists, and portfolio managers to analyze large datasets and develop predictive models that inform our trading decisions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, statistics, and computer science, as well as experience in developing and applying machine learning algorithms to financial data.
In addition to your technical skills, you should be a creative problem-solver with excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collect, analyze, manipulate, transform, and interpret raw data from various sources.
Interpret and represent data using appropriate visualization techniques
Document all processes, methodologies, and instructions to relevant stakeholders.
Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing and analysis.
Work with the quantitative research team to identify new source of data.
Automate data processing tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Perform quality control checks on processed data to ensure data integrity
Collaborate with the IT team to integrate data processing solutions with other systems and tools

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Finance or relevant fields.
Strong experience with Python and its scientific libraries (e.g. Numpy, Pandas).
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Working experience with financial data is a plus.
