Job Background
- We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Vietnam engineering team in Da Nang. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing enclosures, chassis, and precision mechanical systems that integrate seamlessly with advanced electronic assemblies.
- You will collaborate closely with both Vietnamese and American colleagues including senior mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and research scientists to deliver cohesive, high- performance designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Use SolidWorks to design enclosures, detector chassis, and complex instrumentation
- Collaborate with senior engineers (mechanical and electrical) to produce cohesive, integrated systems
- Translate research requirements into manufacturable mechanical solutions
- Balance aesthetics, function, cost, and manufacturability in design decisions
- Hardworking, honest, friendly, and responsible in the workplace
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Proficiency with SolidWorks
- 2+ years of experience in product design, mechanical systems, or instrumentation
- Strong creativity and attention to both practicality and aesthetics
- Conversational English skills (fluency preferred)
Preferred:
- Experience in radiation therapy, medical devices, semiconductor equipment, aerospace, magnetics, automotive, or other high-science or engineering industries
- Track record of working on interdisciplinary engineering projects
