Description of work assignments: as per Job description attached to this Contract and assigned by Superiors.
In the role of Logistic cum purchasing officer, your duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Declare the customs declaration (import and export customs declaration);
- Work with local authorities like Customs Department, …;
- Work and negotiate with Customs Clearance Agents to guarantee cost efficiency;
- Responsible for all related documents, procedures, process in receiving shipment on time efficiently.
- Deal with all issue related to import-export activities.
- Other duties as assigned by CEO.
Logistics:
- Find more domestic trucking and shipping companies
- Find more forwarding agents for international shipments
- Improve the overall reliability of our shipments
- Take training in customs procedures, forms, etc.
- Start with planning of shipments (more combined shipments)
- Use the ERP system for logistics
- Work on cost optimization
Purchasing
- Create a supplier database
- Create a supplier evaluation and ranking system
- Have price negotiations with our suppliers
- Set up annual contracts for supply of office materials and other consumables etc.
- Use the ERP system for purchasing
Working time: 40 hours/week, 8am – 5pm from Monday to Friday and work in administrative shift as company policy.
