Job duties In charge of accounting work at the branch and responsible to the Executive Director for financial accounting work;
Assign specific tasks to accounting department staff and make adjustments when necessary;
Check disbursement and customer collection data with partners monthly;
Check data with partners monthly before paying operating expenses to partners;
Review, sign and approve daily accounting transactions according to assigned authority (cash capital receipt/expenditure documents; payment authorization, other types of accounting documents,...);
Urging, inspecting, supervising and evaluating the performance of accounting department staff;
Report to the Executive Director on important issues related to accounting and finance;
Update accounting and tax policies and issues related to financial accounting and deploy them to accounting staff and relevant departments;
Provide professional training and guidance to employees in the accounting department and provide work support to employees when necessary;
Help the Executive Director work with Tax Authorities, Auditors and Agencies on work related to accounting, finance and tax;
Ensure completion of the Accounting Department's work on time;
Other tasks are assigned at the request of the Leader;
Advise management on aspects in the field of responsibility;
Transact with banks, make money transfers via banks;
Support colleagues in areas of responsibility;
Perform other duties as requested by the Executive Director.
