Job Description

JOB DETAILS:

The Chief Accountant position plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing all accounting and financial activities of a business, especially in the construction and project investment sectors.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organize and manage all operations of the Accounting Department.
Assigning, supervising, and evaluating the performance of personnel.
Develop a system of financial and accounting procedures and regulations that are appropriate to the specific characteristics of the construction industry.
Control all accounting data: revenue, expenses, and project costs.
Track cash flow, accounts payable to customers, contractors, and suppliers.
Manage costs on a project/construction-by-project basis.
Develop a financial plan and balance the funding sources for construction.
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports.
Prepare management reports for each project and each construction phase.
Analyze the investment efficiency, cost-benefit ratio of the project.
Advising the Board of Directors on financial strategy.
Managing tax declarations and settlements (VAT, corporate income tax, personal income tax, etc.).
Working with tax authorities, auditors, and banks.
Control the project's legal and financial documentation.

REQUEST:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
Possess a Chief Accountant certificate (required).
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
At least 2–3 years in a Head/Deputy Head of Department position.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in: Construction, Real Estate, and Project Investment.
Have a thorough understanding of current tax and financial laws.
Team management and leadership skills.
Financial analysis, cash flow planning.
Proficient in accounting software (MISA, FAST, etc.) and Excel.
