Job details:- MEP design document management: reviewing and adjusting MEP design drawings to meet the requirements of the Company's Management Board and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, and advise the Board of Directors on matters related to contractor selection.
- MEP Quality Management: Controlling the quality of materials, products, components, and equipment used in the construction process; Supervising and urging the Supervision Consultant and contractors to follow procedures and meet quality requirements.
- MEP Quantity Management: Checking the quantities prepared by the Consulting Unit against the Design Documents; verifying the actual construction quantities to ensure they conform to the contract quantities and design requirements; checking and confirming the quantities accepted by the Contractors.
- Occupational safety management: inspecting the contractor's occupational safety and health practices to ensure occupational safety and health for the project.
- Managing the construction progress of MEP items: Checking the plans for testing, inspection, trials, commissioning, monitoring, etc., submitted by the construction units;
- Supervise construction work and urge the contractor to adhere to the approved schedule.
- Managing the payment and settlement process for MEP items: Compiling a list of documents to be completed and reviewing the payment and settlement documents submitted by the Contractor.
- Planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control for MEP projects.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities to obtain necessary permits related to MEP (fire protection, electricity, etc.) and complete the acceptance process with the relevant authorities.
- Collaborate with company departments in the bidding process, assess contractor capabilities, finalize tender documents, and develop technical requirements for each task and material.
- Prepare reports and perform other tasks as directed by the Company's Management Board.
Job requirements: - Qualifications: University degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or other related MEP fields.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably candidates with experience supervising or executing MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) work in Grade 1 projects;
- Holds a Class 1 Construction Supervision Certificate.
- Thorough understanding of construction laws and regulations, and standards related to MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing).
- Knowledge of construction and the paperwork and legal procedures related to MEP;
- Proficient in MEP construction techniques;
- Communication and problem-solving skills;
- Skills in working independently and in a team;
- Ability to adapt quickly and withstand high work pressure.
- Proficient in specialized industry-specific software;
- English: Basic communication skills;
- Honest, careful, and meticulous.
