Tester is responsible for executing test plans, documenting defects, and ensuring the quality and reliability of security and surveillance camera products and solutions.
Main tasks:
Test Execution: Execute test plans and test cases, ensuring that all aspects of the product are thoroughly tested.
Bug Reporting: Document bugs identified during testing, including detailed steps to reproduce and any relevant supporting information.
Test Automation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.
Test Environment Setup: Set up and configure test environments as needed to support testing activities.
Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure that all testing activities are aligned with project goals.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all testing is conducted according to best testing practices and industry standards.
Reporting: Provides periodic updates on testing progress, including metrics related to test coverage, defect density, and test execution status.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in the field of electronic or software testing.
In-depth understanding of testing methods, tools and techniques.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Good communication and interaction skills.
Experience with security and surveillance camera products is a plus.
