Plan, assign work, monitor progress of MES/ERP systems development.
Ensure projects are completed on time, on quality and on budget.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and goals.
Analyze requirements from the manufacturing plant to design MES modules such as production management, overall equipment performance (OEE), quality management, material management, and maintenance management.
Build MES solutions integrated with SCADA/PLC systems to collect real-time production data.
Develop functionality to track and monitor production processes through dashboards and visual reports.
Build connections between MES and ERP systems to synchronize production, order and warehouse management data.
Integrate MES with IoT devices, sensors, industrial machines to automate manufacturing processes.
Develop APIs or Web Services to connect with other systems.
Monitor and improve MES performance, reduce latency in data collection and processing.
Analyze production process problems through MES data to propose improvement solutions.
Perform maintenance and upgrade of MES software to ensure stability and scalability.
Your skills and experience
University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software development, preferably working with MES/ERP systems.
Deep knowledge of RESTful API, application security and databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, C#, Python, or popular ERP development platforms (SAP, Odoo, Oracle ERP...).
In-depth knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and system integration.
Project management skills (Agile, Scrum).
Communication, leadership and problem solving skills.
Understanding of microservices architecture and external system integration (MES, CRM).
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure is a plus.
Good communication and teamwork skills, able to explain technical issues to non-technical members.
Ability to manage time and work to tight deadlines.
Creative and flexible problem solving thinking.
