Job description

Setting up knowledgeable and engaging stores: collaborate with design and marketing teams to translate business needs into functional and visually appealing website
Theme customization: Make bespoke themes and change all the pre-existing templates according to the predefined company guidelines.
App integration: Ensure smooth connection with the Shopify Apps, Marketing Tools, and Platform APIs to enhance site functionality
Shopify store management and development: Must debug and test out the websites regularly to enhance the performance. Offer coordination and technical support to protect the company against failure. Optimize for speed and scalability.
Stay updated on the latest Shopify features, apps, and tools.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other similar field.
Minimum 3 years of working experience on related field, especially the Shopify platform
Proven experience as a Shopify developer with a strong portfolio of Shopify-based projects
Solid knowledge of the Shopify ecosystem, Liquid programming language and Shopify Plus features.
Strong front-end development skills: JavaScript, DOM, CSS3 and HTML5, frameworks like React or Vue.js
Experience in API Storefront with proven work of theme customization
Expertise in maintenance, launch, and shop construction and having general understanding of the admin system: payment gateways, shipping configurations, and taxes within Shopify
Familiarity with version control systems (eg, Git or Bitbucket)
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with SEO best practices for e-commerce websites
Having the ability to provide proactive feedback and interact effectively.
