    Job Description

    JOB DETAILS
    Undertake all work related to purchasing activities of the entire factory on schedule and at the right price.
    • Find backup suppliers, compare prices, secure credit and stabilize quality.
    • Compile, update, systematize, and store documents and materials related to products and raw materials for the sales department: Profile (spec, MSDS, design), Timeline for product development.
    • Compile, update, and manage contracts and orders.
    • Synthesize raw material purchase price data... to serve appropriate reporting when needed by the Board of Directors.
    • Monitor, supervise and expedite corrective and preventive actions related to nonconformities during customer assessment and supplier material defects.
    • Update market information and competitive prices in the most accurate way. (including FOB costs, shipping costs, taxes, etc.)
    • Responsible for monitoring debt and paying supplier debt.
    • Ready to coordinate with other departments to perform tasks when requested by the Department Head.
    • Secure the Company's documents, data, contracts and customer records.
    • Responsible for reporting to direct manager on assigned tasks.
    • Search, expand markets, and establish good relationships between the company and partners and suppliers.
    • Willing to take on new assignments if requested by the Company's Board of Directors.
    • Enthusiastically participate in training programs and collective activities of the Company.
    • Document center: store and control purchasing records, import and export records, and ISO records of the department.
    • Train and coach purchasing staff under your authority.
    • Weekly, monthly, quarterly reports on department operations (including expanding supplier list, negotiating sales prices, etc.)

    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • College degree or higher, majoring in Economics or Foreign Trade or related fields.
    • Understand the business culture of foreign (Chinese) and domestic suppliers.
    • Fluent in foreign languages: English. Knowing Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) is also an advantage.
    • Ability to handle situations and solve problems well.
    • Skills to persuade and negotiate with suppliers about debt, price, quality, delivery time, etc.
    • Good communication, confident, flexible in work.
    • Reports, statistics and forecasts on raw materials.
    • Computer: office (Word, excel, power point).
    • Have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position in the OEM manufacturing industry.
    • Experience: purchasing (merchandise, purchasing, sourcing, buyer,...) or supply chain.
