1. Research and development of new products
- Research product requirements from customers or the sales department.
- Design and develop new products according to technical requirements.
- Analyze the feasibility of the product before production.
- Conduct testing and evaluate product prototypes.
2. Implementing production techniques
- Transfer of technology from the development phase to mass production.
- Develop production processes and technical guidelines.
- Establish technical specifications for each stage.
- Support the production department during the new product launch process.
3. Develop and manage technical documentation.
- Prepare technical drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and product specifications.
- Drafting production procedures and work instructions (SOPs).
- Update documentation whenever there are changes to the design or process.
4. Product and production process improvements
- Analyze product defects and propose solutions for improvement.
- Optimize design to reduce costs and improve quality.
- Improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
5. On-site technical support
- Provide support to production departments when technical issues arise.
- Collaborate with QA/QC to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance when there are issues related to machinery and equipment.
6. Coordinate with relevant departments
- Work with the sales department to understand product requirements.
- Coordinate with the production plan to launch the new product.
- Work with purchasing to select appropriate materials.
- Provide customer support when receiving technical feedback from customers.
7. Reporting and Improvement
- Prepare progress reports on new product development.
- Monitor product effectiveness after it goes into production.
- Propose solutions to improve production efficiency and product quality.
- Job requirements:
- Ages 30 and above
- Graduated from college or higher - majoring in packaging/offset printing
- Have 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
