Prepare, check, and finalize import and export documentation in accordance with regulations.
Working with forwarders and shipping lines on bookings, vessel schedules, ETD/ETA, local fees, and other requirements.
Track shipment status: check cutoff time, send SI and VGM on time.
Coordinate with internal departments to receive or deliver goods to customers on schedule.
Monitor the customs clearance process, work with customs authorities, and handle any issues that arise (specialized inspections, missing documents).
Update and track delivery progress, ensuring goods are delivered on schedule.
Maintain complete, organized, and easily searchable import and export records. - Prepare periodic reports or reports as requested by superiors.
- Job requirements:
Graduated from college/university with a major in: International Business, Logistics, Customs, Foreign Trade, or related fields.
Possesses 12 years of experience in import/export (candidates with experience in the garment industry are preferred). Proficient in reading and understanding specialized English-language international trade documents.
Proficient in office software: Excel, Word, email; knowledge of customs declaration software is an advantage.
Excellent skills in working with partners/forwarders, proactively handling situations.
