JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Quality control officer (QC).
Department: Quality Management Department.
Working place: Phat Tien Seafood Co., Ltd - Lot B3, My Hiep industrial cluster, My Hiep commune, Cao Lanh district, Dong Thap province, Vietnam.
Employee group: Indirect.
Reporting directly to: QC Team Leader.
Report indirectly to: Head or deputy head of Quality Management.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Monitoring product quality through the manipulation of workers in the production process according to the Company's quality standards;
2. Take normative samples of input material batches before production and send them to Planning Department;
3. Sampling in each stage, analyzing samples, recording goods inspection parameters on the form;
4. Sensory inspection of products after defrosting daily, report to QC Team Leader and Head - Deputy Technical Department to decide on color, extra amount for each type of product;
5. Save full product information in QC's report so that information can be provided when customers complain and request traceability;
6. Report quality problems immediately to Technical Manager/Deputy Manager for timely resolution and handling;
7. Cooperate with the Production Team Leader to supervise the observance of regulations on labor protection to ensure product quality and safety;
8. In addition, the product quality staff supports the following tasks:
a. Instructions for mixing detergents for cleaning equipment and personal disinfection;
b. Monitoring the concentration of cleaning and disinfecting chemicals at all stages;
c. Monitoring and experimenting with chemicals and additives;
9. Perform other tasks as assigned by QC Team Leader.
EXPERIENCE, SKILL AND CULTURAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
DEGREE:
Graduation in food technology, seafood processing, food chemistry, biotechnology or equivalent degrees.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Having working experience and certificates of HACCP, BRC, ISO, IFS is an advantage;
2. Have good communication skills; Speak and write Vietnamese well; knowing English is an advantage;
3. Have a high sense of responsibility and accept to work in shifts;
4. Diligent, eager to learn and have an improvement mind;
5. Have good health.
