    Job Description

    • Welcome guests to the restaurant and present the menu to the guests.
    • Answer questions and recommend food and drinks to new guests.
    • Know the food and drink information available in the restaurant.
    • Receive orders for drinks and food from customers and take them to the kitchen department.
    • Suggest menus and notify patrons of new dishes in the restaurant.
    • Bring food and drinks to the table for guests when they are ready.
    • Provide alcoholic beverage service in a responsible manner.
    • Check to see if the diners are satisfied with the food.
    • Issue invoices when required.
    • Receive payments from guests according to the amount stated on the invoice.
    • Capture table changes such as number of guests, order changes...
    • Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and airy.
    • Serve guests during meals, assist guests when needed.
    • Coordinating with the chef or sous chef to check incoming goods and food including quantity and quality
    • Check raw materials and food left over from the previous shift to have appropriate handling, minimizing the waste of raw materials; at the same time planning to order goods
    • Prepare ingredients, utensils and equipment for food processing
    • Update and notify the temporarily suspended dishes or special dishes of the day to the kitchen staff and related departments.
    • Clean the processing area and clean the utensils used to prepare food according to regulations
    • Arrange the processing tools, machinery, equipment, spices, cooking ingredients neatly and in the right place.
    • Responsible for storing raw materials at the end of shift
    • Together with other employees, perform a kitchen cleaning review before the end of the shift
    • Check the gas systems, lights, fans have been turned off; refrigerators and refrigerators are still operating at the prescribed standard temperature before the end of the working shift
    • Consolidate the orders of the day into the report and send it to the cashier
    • Handing over the work to the next shift, closing the shift.
