Job security | - When there are no customers, instruct the Runner staff to stand still, refrain from using their phones, and avoid talking to each other privately.
- Guests arrive and are greeted proactively. If there is no staff member available, the Runner staff member will proactively pour water and invite guests to sit at a table.
- After guests arrive at the dining room, the glasses they used earlier must be cleared and dried for subsequent guests.
- Carry food from the kitchen area (ground floor) up to the guest dining area (first floor).
- During the serving process, if there is an urgent request from the Service Department to wash cutlery, that must be given priority.
- Assist in washing and wiping glasses if requested by the Service department.
- At the end of the shift, carefully check the dishwashing area to retrieve all knives and forks, then wipe them clean and arrange them neatly on a tray before carrying them upstairs.
- Ensure that the cutlery cloths are those provided by the Service Department, avoiding confusion with kitchen dishcloths.
- After their shift ends, FOH staff will check the quality of work.
- Assist with other tasks as requested by management.
