Kitchen Assistant : Assists the head chef and head cooks in preparation tasks, including cleaning the kitchen area and utensils, and assisting in receiving and checking ingredients. Kitchen assistants may also be assigned simple tasks such as peeling and cutting vegetables and fruits according to instructions.
Food preparation : Prepare ingredients according to the requirements of each dish, ensuring food hygiene and safety. This work includes washing, slicing, chopping, marinating meat, fish, vegetables, or preparing sauces and base spices according to standard recipes.
Serving : Arrange and decorate cooked food on plates or trays in a beautiful, professional manner before serving customers. Ensure that the food is presented properly, retains the necessary heat (or cold) and is visually complete.
