Job Description o Lead the planning, introduction, and implementation of the Lean Manufacturing System at the factory. This includes, but is not limited to, 6S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Standardized Work, Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED), and Pull Production.
o Identify production efficiency bottlenecks and waste areas through data analysis and on-site diagnostics, then develop and implement improvement plans.
o Establish a key performance indicator (KPI) system for metrics like Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Work-In-Process (WIP) inventory, and production cycle time, and regularly report on improvement results.
o Responsible for defining, optimizing, and supervising the execution of full-process process standards for solid-wood furniture (cutting, solid-wood processing, joining and shaping, UV assembly), metal products (cutting, bending, coating), and upholstery products (cutting, sewing, filling, covering).
o Provide immediate technical support and training by going deep into the production site to promptly resolve technical and process issues during production.o Lead the assessment, pilot testing, and promotion of introducing new materials, processes, and equipment to enhance technical competitiveness. o Increase output per person (man-hour productivity) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through process optimization, production line balancing, and equipment modification.
o Lead cost reduction projects, focusing on key areas such as improving material utilization rate, reducing energy consumption, and controlling scrap rate. o Drive considerations for automated and semi-automated modifications, gradually advancing the upgrade to Smart Manufacturing
o Cultivate the production team's Lean awareness and technical capabilities, organize regular training and skills competitions
o Collaborate with Production, Quality, Equipment/Maintenance, and R&D departments to ensure the cross-functional implementation of technical improvement projects
Requirements- Academic Requirement: Bachelor's degree or higher, in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Furniture Design and Manufacturing, Wood Science and Engineering, or related majors.
- At least 5 years of experience in the furniture manufacturing industry.
- At least 3 years in a Lean Manufacturing promotion or Process Technical Management role.
- Familiar with the production processes, material characteristics, and quality standards for solid-wood furniture and upholstery products.
- Experience in the full implementation of a Lean Manufacturing System is preferred.
- Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing
