JOB DETAILS: The Chief Accountant position plays a crucial role in managing and controlling all of the company's financial and accounting activities, ensuring legal compliance and optimizing business efficiency.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directing and overseeing all accounting activities of the company, including financial accounting, management accounting, tax accounting, and inventory accounting.
Ensure that the recording, aggregation, and reporting of financial statements comply with Vietnamese laws and accounting standards (VAS).
Review and approve periodic financial reports and tax reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
Provide guidance and supervision on tax settlement procedures, ensuring compliance with the law and optimizing tax obligations.
Develop an annual financial budget for the company and monitor its implementation.
Analyze and evaluate financial performance, identify risks, and propose corrective measures.
Planning and managing cash flow ensures liquidity and optimizes capital utilization.
Negotiate with banks and financial institutions to raise capital, obtain credit guarantees, or support payments.
Monitor and analyze production and operating costs to ensure they stay within budget.
Propose improvements to reduce costs and enhance resource efficiency.
Coordinate with relevant departments to develop mechanisms for cost control, preventing losses and waste.
Establish and maintain internal financial and accounting processes and policies to ensure transparency, accuracy, and minimize the risk of errors.
Regularly evaluate and improve accounting and financial processes to meet the company's growth needs.
Collaborate with internal and external audit departments during audit periods.
Manage, guide, and develop the capabilities of the staff in the finance and accounting department.
Properly assigning tasks ensures efficiency and timely fulfillment of work requirements.
Propose professional development training programs for employees.
REQUEST:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Banking and Finance, or related fields.
Preference will be given to candidates with international professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, and CFA.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting, including at least 3 years in a management position at a manufacturing company or related industry.
Experience working in the field of pesticide or chemical manufacturing is an advantage.
Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
In-depth understanding of the Vietnamese accounting system (VAS), tax regulations, and corporate finance.
Proficient in accounting software (ERP preferred) and office tools (especially Excel).
Effective leadership and team management skills.
