1. Accounts receivable and accounts payable (AP, AR)
- Manage and process invoices, payments and receipts promptly.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely collection.
- Coordinate with customers to confirm payments and reconcile discrepancies.
2. Financial reporting and documentation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards.
- Assist with periodic audits and liaise with auditors as needed.
3. Tax obligations
- Prepare and submit tax returns according to Vietnamese regulations.
- Prepare VAT, CIT, PIT and other tax records if any.
- Stay up to date on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
4. General ledger management
- Record and maintain journal entries for general ledger accounts.
- Reconcile balance sheets, accounts and sub-ledger balances regularly.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
5. Cash flow and bank reconciliation
- Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate funds for operating needs.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Support petty cash management and expense reimbursement.
6. Internal control and process improvement
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
- Support finance team with special projects and reporting needs.
7. Cooperation and communication
- Coordinate with other departments (sales, purchasing, etc.) to support business operations.
- Communicate effectively with local banks, tax authorities and suppliers.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
Request
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 2 years of experience in tax accounting or general accounting.
- Able to communicate fluently in Chinese and/or English.
- Have extensive knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards and tax laws.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail and problem solving ability.
