JOB DETAILS 1. Optimizing garment production:
- Develop and improve garment manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Analyze and optimize prototyping, tailoring and manufacturing processes.
- Implement manufacturing techniques to reduce costs and improve fabric utilization.
2. Technical Expertise & Support:
- Provide technical guidance to design and production teams on garment manufacturing processes, fabrics, trims and finishes.
- Solve all technical issues related to garment manufacturing, including fit, quality control and machine usage.
3. Collaborate with design and prototyping teams:
- Work closely with designers and pattern makers to ensure garments are designed for optimum production efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Review and approve prototypes and samples prior to mass production.
5. Fabric and border selection:
- Provide expertise in fabric selection, pattern making and tailoring based on production feasibility and cost effectiveness.
- Ensures fabric and edging are used efficiently, minimizing waste while maintaining garment quality
6. Process Improvement & Innovation:
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in garment manufacturing technology and processes.
- Propose new techniques, machines or processes to improve garment production.
7. Training and supervision:
- Train and instruct production staff on garment technical operations and quality standards.
- Supervise garment production team to ensure proper implementation of garment technical guidelines.
