1. Professional management:
- Develop and update technical testing procedures suitable for the ophthalmology field.
- Monitor/perform specialized tests to ensure proper procedures and quality.
- Check, evaluate, and approve test results within the scope of authority.
2. Management and organization of faculty activities:
- Manage professional records, periodically and suddenly report on the Faculty's activities to the Board of Directors.
3. Test quality assurance:
- Establish and maintain internal and external quality control systems.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to improve processes and enhance the reliability of test results.
4. Equipment and materials management:
- Monitor the use, maintenance, calibration and repair of testing equipment.
- Plan and propose the purchase of chemicals and consumables to meet professional needs and save costs.
5. Inter-departmental coordination:
- Act as a focal point between the Laboratory Department and clinical departments, especially the Examination Department and the Ophthalmology Department, to ensure maximum testing support in treatment.
