- Carry out neat and orderly cleaning in examination rooms, procedure rooms, restrooms, hallways, stairs, and working rooms of the department/room according to the assignment in the regulations on management of patient rooms and procedure rooms. Techniques and regulations on hospital infection control, handling linen according to the washing and disinfecting process of linen at the laundry house.
- Serving patients: Delivering supplies to patients entering the department. Clean hospital beds, change clothes, blankets, curtains for patients according to regulations. Scrub dirty items and sterilize tools to ensure they are always dry and clean. Nursing assistants transport patients in comprehensive patient care.
- Collect and manage hospital waste in departments/rooms as assigned in accordance with regulations on hospital infection control. Place trash cans at designated locations of the department/room. Concentrate and classify trash from patient rooms and procedure rooms into the department's common trash bin. Collect trash daily. Maintain assets within assigned scope. Tie a plastic bag when the trash is more than 2/3 full and transport it to a centralized waste treatment facility in accordance with hospital regulations, making sure not to let trash fall out.
