Role Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design, construction, and operational phases of projects within the steel, non-ferrous metal, or chemical plant industries. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that mechanical systems are designed, constructed, and operated efficiently and effectively, while also managing facility operations during the operational phase. Responsibilities: - Design and analyze mechanical systems and components in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. - Interpret and review various engineering drawings including Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), and Isometric (ISO) drawings. - Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create and modify engineering drawings. - Oversee construction activities during the construction phase in Ho Chi Minh for the PM3 project, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that project timelines and budgets are met. - Manage facility operations during the operational phase of PM3, ensuring optimized performance and maintenance of mechanical systems. - Conduct regular inspections and assessments of mechanical equipment to identify and resolve issues proactively. - Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations as required. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations, and apply them to improve project efficiency. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the steel, non-ferrous metal, or chemical plant industries. - Proficient in reading and writing English; strong communication skills are essential. - Ability to interpret various engineering drawings, including PFD, P&ID, and ISO. - Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools for engineering applications. - Relevant certifications in Mechanical Engineering or related fields are preferred. - Must be eligible for international travel to support project needs. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detailed-oriented approach. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
